MEGALØPOLIS is a five-piece band formed in Berlin. Their eclectic sound sprawls like its urban namesake and is every bit as labyrinthyne: Take a good portion of rock and roll , that is equal parts garage and kraut, throw in some punk attitude for good measure, add a dash of thrash and top it off with a dollop of good old anti-capitalist dadaism - it's a sonic elixir only MEGALØPOLIS knows how to serve up right.

The band released their debut album 'Vampire Orgies' in 2021, which they recorded over the course of the pandemic mostly in home studios in Berlin. In March 2022 they released the single '7 Deadly Sins' and the group started hitting the stage. Over the course of the year MEGALØPOLIS played over a dozen shows in Berlin, playing at iconic clubs like Cassiopeia and Schockoladen and winning first place in the rock category of LOTTO Spätival Festival. They performed two shows in Spain and also released 2 more singles: 'Hanging At Home' and 'Plastic Fantasies'.

The band is currently working on finalizing their second LP, which is due in June of this very year and planning shows for a their first tour across europe.
